With roots as a PA, Mo Wagdy currently splits his time as a producer/director/editor at miniGorilla productions, as a commercial art department leadman, and as the founder and head of the Mofest Community not-for-profit organization.
John Adams, Officer and Photo Gallery Director
John works as an assistant director on major commercial shoots, directs a variety of music videos and narrative concepts, and is an extremely talented photographer to boot. He is one of the festivals originating volunteers.
Sharon Lomasney, Art Gallery Director
Sharon has helped produce a variety of major motion pictures and commercials and works full-time at one of Chicago’s largest studios. She is also an accomplished artist who originated the Mofest art gallery.
Angela Finney, Production Designer and Creative Director
Having worked in the agency world and now one of Chicago’s top production designers, Angela brings her creativity, resourcefulness, and project management skills as head of the Mofest art department.
Angela Sheridon, Public Relations Director
Angela creates PR magic at Potts Mueller Chicago, helping brand some of Chicago’s fastest growing media companies. She offers a wealth of PR consulting advice and her insider media connections to the organization.
Ginger Bogle, Fundraising and Organizational Director
Working full-time at Advocate Charitable Fundraising, Ginger finds the time to bring her years of event planning and logistics experience to the table and helped originate our first raffle and series of gift bags.
Brian Babarik, Officer and Creative Consultant
Brian is fine-tuning his cameraman and business skills into a quickly growing production company. He has extensive experience filming documentary television and continues to bring a world of new ideas to Mofest.
Josh Levy, Lighting Director and Creative Consultant
Paying his dues at the Essanay shop, Josh has emerged as a multifaceted electrician and gaffer. He initiated lighting concepts at Mofest and always finds the right volunteer crew and donated equipment to illuminate our events.
Mario Coletta, Sound Director
Having saved the day with last-minute gear at multiple Mofest events, Mario brings his audio expertise and finds ways to build upon or reduce the acoustic characteristics of each specific venue.
Marcus Quandt, Music Playlist
DjQ was one of the very first volunteers to Mofest, finding hundreds of themed songs and creating incredible custom playlists for the overall ambience of the event. His event playlists are promptly posted on the web the following week.
Tim Armstrong, Live Music Director
Tim splits his time as a video assist, owner of his own painting business, and has played in a multitude of bands. He helped innovate and continues to do the bookings of our live music fundraising event Wildsound.
Megan Harris, Gift Bags Coordinator
While currently finding her way onto Chicago art department crews, Megan is refining her skills designing, researching and sourcing items for the Mofest attendee gift bags.
Scott Coleman, Lead Art Assist
Scott has been an art department mainstay with his famed “bread truck” tool kit and his amazing rigging and carpentry skills. He brings this expertise to help Angela bring her production designs to life for the main event.
Ira Amyx, Art Assist
If it needs to be built, Ira is the man to see. He’s partnered up with a fellow entrepreneur at the Hero Solutions company, specializing in creating custom props and set dec for the film and retail industries.
Senica Billingsley, Associate Marketing Director
Senica manages people as an assistant director in commercial and feature production and has quickly become a major part of the organization with her ideas on how to promote and generate interest for both Mofest and Wildsound.
